About
The Department of the Navy Rapid Capabilities Office established the National Security Prototype to Production OT Consortium (NSPPC) under 10 U.S.C. § 4022 for use by the U.S. Navy and available to the Department of War. The NSPPC provides a rapid pathway from prototype to production, connecting mission needs with composable solutions that builds reusable capability with every award.
How it works
A sponsor brings a mission need. It becomes a plain-language Request for Solutions. Members respond with short briefs, each declaring the interfaces, data structures, behaviors, and integration support the offeror will make available for plug-and-play use in multivendor national security systems. Successful prototypes can move to production under 10 U.S.C. § 4022 without a new competition.
The Mission Integration Commons (MIC), a shared Government-owned integration and validation ecosystem is being developed to support the technical work throughout by providing access to peer environments, conformance tools, digital ranges, and integration support.
Membership
Membership lowers the barriers without lowering the bar. The consortium is free to join.
